Dress Code: Steel toe shoes required, no skin showing on legs. No sleeveless shirts. NO jewelry (no watches, no rings, no bracelets, no bracelets. No neck chains).

Line production workers - Expect to stand over 8 hours a day. Changing assembly line position every two hours. The work seems easy, there is a smell of chemicals in the building. No one was wearing a mask for covid or chemicals. Work area is not temp controlled(can get hot or cold).

Steel toe boots, no jewelry, no watches, or cell phone on floor. Must wear hair net, ear plugs and safety goggles. Make up ok, no acrylic nails.

About the opening:
Perform all insurance collections functions, which includes running aging reports & verifying the status by checking system notes and with the Billing team on any overdue accounts. Contacting the insurance or managed care companies and patients regarding past due amounts. Applying payments to the patient accounts and entering approved adjustments. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to communicate with patients and insurance companies.

Audit orders in the collections queue and check notes for payment and claim status. Send statements as needed and may need to file appeals.
Posting payments received from the insurance companies and patients. Making adjustments.
Monitoring the collections queue to review claims payment status. Carefully check the notes for any updates regarding an appeal or payment arrangements.
Make sure patient files are up to date with all claims, EOB and invoice information, as well as any other pertinent notes regarding the claim, billing or payment status.
Follow up with the insurance companies on any delinquent insurance and submit appeals as necessary.
Post all payments received and adjustments per the EOB to the patient's invoice.
Review any financial information with the patient, and if needed assist the patient with billing problems or payment arrangements.
Assist the Billing and Authorization teams as needed. Miscellaneous duties as assigned
Requirements:
Education
High school diploma or equivalent Experience:
Minimum one year prior medical insurance billing or collections experienced required (two or more years preferred)
Skills
Prior billing / collections experience within DME medical field preferred
Knowledge of basic medical terminology, including HCPC codes and ICD 9/10
Knowledge of clinical documents received by referral sources
Will train the right person if they have the other skills needed Skills:
Ability to type 50 WPM - Type by touch
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work efficiently and independently
Must have excellent customer service skills
Experience with Word, Excel, Outlook and QuickBooks

You’ll also keep the facility clean by removing debris and trash to ensure safety. Note that this position requires standing and repetitive reach/grab movements to offload the bubble wrap coming off the machine. If you are familiar with these tasks and interested in working at a well-functioning warehouse, let’s meet.
