Today officially marks three years in our new space. 🎉

When we moved to 220 Franklin Road in Randolph, we were excited about the future, anxious about growing bigger after surviving the first big wave of the pandemic, and exhausted after building out this new location while simultaneously operating our Rt. 10 spot in Denville day-to-day.

Now, three years later, I think it’s safe to say we made the right choice. We’ve heard from so many of you over the past three years about how much better the Fort is now and how much you enjoy coming to our Randolph home. And the fact that we added a party space, a lab, and new offices to our facility this year makes it even sweeter. We’ll always miss some things about that first tiny taproom that started us on our journey, and that’s okay, but today, we’re looking forward to what’s ahead.

We are looking for folks to join our taproom staff who are passionate about craft beer and the craft beer community, familiar with a wide variety of beer styles and dedicated to providing quality customer service. Our taproom is a place where we teach visitors about beer and the brewing process, share our story, and provide a space for the community to come together.

🍺 Must be 21+ and must have weekend availability.🍺

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Creating a welcoming and friendly experience for all visitors.
-Educating customers on craft beer and our offerings.
-Serving draft beer (pours/growlers/crowlers).
-Checking identification to verify customers are of legal age to purchase alcohol and serving customers in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws/regulations.
-Operating the point of sale system for beer tabs and sales of beer and merchandise.
-Maintaining a clean work area and taproom by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses and equipment.
-Assisting during company and community events.
-Performing other tasks as requested.
-Must be able to lift 50lbs., stand for long periods of time.
-Already ETips or ServSafe certified a plus.

It’s our first flash tattoos at the Fort! Saturday, October 26, to kick off our Halloween Party that night, from is doing tattoos in the taproom from 12-5pm! So check out the sheets and let us know which one you want below!

Fright Nights Horror Classics in the Barrel Room was a success this past Friday! 🎬🍻

REMINDER: This week’s movie screening is on WEDNESDAY (Same timing—doors open at 7pm, movie starts at 7:30pm) and will be the 1960 NON-MUSICAL Little Shop of Horrors film. Runtime is 1hr 10mins and it has a 94% Rotten Tomatoes score. Here’s some more info:

🌷A lowly flower-shop assistant nurtures a carnivorous plant with a taste for human flesh. This cult movie was famously shot in two days by low-budget horror director Roger Corman and includes an early role for Jack Nicholson as a masochistic dental patient. 🌷 (It’s a fun one, we promise!)

And then on 10/25, we’re screening the ultimate Halloween flick—1968 George Romero classic NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD! It all leads up to our full-day Halloween party on Saturday 10/26 with flash tattoos all day and live music from 6-9pm.

We had a great time at our very first weekend in Hammonton, NJ. Met lots of great folks, hung out with some of our favorite breweries in the state, and had a good time all around.

(And yes, our theme was specifically the Spooky Island 2002 Scooby-Doo movie, themed around our Zoinks! Sour Ale).

Do you remember last year’s short-lived batch of Appley Ever After Apple Ale that we brewed with ? Well, what we didn’t tell you is that we put a small portion of that batch into a Chardonnay barrel for a year and the result is deeeelicious!

POURING EXCLUSIVELY AT RIAMEDE FARM THIS WEEKEND: Appley Ever After Barrel-Aged Ale is a 4.3% apple ale brewed with a blend of Riamede Farm apples with a crisp Chardonnay finish.

Catch us at the farm 12-4pm Saturday & Sunday this weekend. (Live music both days, 12-3pm!) FNBC won’t be back at the farm again til 10/26, so don’t miss out!

We’re starting off our rainy Sunday with the Jets game on TV (!!!) and a event, taking 20+ Scarlet Knights through our lab and brewhouse for a tour. The Aslanians have many RU education degrees throughout the family (including Andrew, our head brewer and owner, here) so you can bet that we love teaching others about beer and the brewing process! What do you think he’s talking about here? 🤔

The best part: UPSTREAM RED TEAM IPA IS HERE! 6.6% of hoppy, florally goodness. This lightly pink beer is brewed with hibiscus and perfect for tailgating or just watching the game onscreen.
