Happy one decade to The Go 2 Guys of Reading, LLC! Celebrating 10 years in business today.

Happy Memorial Day! We remember those who gave their lives.

The Go 2 Guys was a sponsor for the TLC Fore golf tournament, which was raising money for community development with youth in the City of Reading. We crafted the grand raffle prize Tiki Bar which was a beauty!

Thank you to Shuman Development Group for their shout out on our property. Our owner Luis Orlando Cintron was born and raised in the city, and his grandfather Marcelino Colon, Sr. was one of the first Hispanics to come to the city. This building that houses our office on the first floor, is owned by our sister company Redeemed Properties of Reading, LLC, which provides exceptional housing in the city. We have also purchased the corner unit and are 80% done with this project. Both of these properties 55 & 57 S. 6th St., were both owned by out of state investors who did not care. We have a conviction to invest in the city spiritually and financially. We are proud to be part of local investors from the city, in the city, and for the city.

So here we have two more buildings we did back in 2001-2002 at 53 and 55 south 6th street. We did facade restorations, new rubber roofs, and general cleaning up then turned them over to 'investors'. The building on the left has sold several times and is owned by an absentee landlord. It looks like not a single dollar of maintenance has been done since our restoration work back in 2002. The building on the right is owned by a local who has an office on the first floor. At 20 years it was time for a repaint and he did a great job on that and restored some of the copper trim around the retail storefront. It doesn't get much clearer than this as the difference between local pride of ownership and absentee 'investor' owners that just want a check sent to them every month. It is amazing that the city still pushes hard to bring in out of town investment.

Must have a valid PA driver’s license and vehicle.
Must be committed and ready to work every day.
Must be respectful and a team player.
Must have general carpentry knowledge with framing, roofing, kitchens, baths, finish and trim.
Must have carpentry hand tools.
