I, as well as many others, work full time. We use that down time to get pieces done so that each month we are full with new, fun and exciting furniture and decor! So happy to be a part of the trbe!

Hey hey, the second weekend of the month is approaching, and that means it's shopping time at Endeavor's Our Gathered Home! The shop is filled with Spring, Easter and of course everyday decor!

Today I picked up this AMAZING set from a friend who is moving. I'm happy because I absolutely LOVE this style, but sad because she is leaving. Our friendship began as my interest of riding motorcycles grew. I joined the Stilettos on Steel with her and we've ridden together many times. Her 20's themed wedding in May was a blast! So, it's bittersweet that I scored this set, because I'm sad that one of my riding buddies and one of the few good female friends I have is leaving...I will miss you, Sheryl! (And Jason too😉)

Found this little surprise rolled up in a small server I'm working on! I googled the year a newspaper would have cost 3 cents, and it would've been around 1900-1910! I love finding this stuff! The server has the original key too❤

Open house is happening this weekend at Endeavor's Our Gathered Home! Starting this month, I have reduced my size as a vendor as a way to have less stress on myself to "keep up" with finished pieces. And as a result, I am already working ahead which is a nice feeling. I have 4 pieces ready to go and am working on a 3pc bedroom set (1st pic). I THOUGHT it was wood finish, but found out it was a wood look painted over a white painted undercoat (UGH!). Regardless, I decided to strip the tops and once again am glad I didn't give up because they came out beautifully! Stay tuned for more pieces and as always we all hope you can stop in this weekend and see what we've been working on! Open today and tomorrow 10-5!

Hey everyone! It's been quiet, as summer months usually are. I picked up a few beauties last week and did some reorganizing in my garage. Also working on some things I've had for quite a while. This hutch is my focus today. Sometimes I can't decide on color until I have a brush in my hand and ready to paint, other times I have a vision and it HAS to be that! I picked Bayberry for this beautiful hutch, and ordered this pretty wallpaper for the interior. Can't wait to see it all together❤

April's open house is this weekend, but we are doing things a little different! We will not be open Easter Sunday, instead we are adding Thursday to make up for the lost day. So this month our hours are:

After sanding and bleaching this stain, there was still a small portion that traditional oil stain wouldn't cover. So this ended up being a perfect candidate for Java gel stain! But I'm still amazed at how well the wood bleach works!!

Working on this beastly buffet today. Looks like I need to break out the wood bleach! I'm not optimistic here, but have to give it a try. I'll post an update when done, but need to get off of FB and order some 😂

New to the shop this month is this Oval Empire style library table. I love the chunky legs on this, as well as the curved feet. I refinished the top on this beauty, and added a pull to the drawer. This is a custom mix of paints to create a deep charcoal gray. As with all of my pieces, it is distressed around the edges and sealed with high performance poly for durability and protection!

This sweet matching Art Deco dresser and princess vanity set is now available, but priced separately. I painted these in GF Seagull Gray with Antique White on the drawers to accentuate the feminine design. All original hardware on these beauties! ❤

This Hepplewhite style vanity...gorgeousness!! All original hardware, refinished top and new mirror. Painted in a custom mix of General Finishes paints to create a deep charcoal gray. A lovely piece indeed 💗

This week I'll be featuring what's new to the shop for this weekend's open house. First up is this display piece. I converted this previous hutch top to be used as a display piece, great for a narrow space! Painted in Bayberry and whitewashed wood designed paper was added to the back. And the scrolly feet 😍!! This screams farmhouse style to me! Tons of space to store your trinkets and collectibles!

Sometimes I immediately have a vision for how I want to redo a piece...sometimes I can't decide on color until I'm ready to paint. This hutch top, I'm happy to say, is turning out better than I imagined. Just have to add the scroll feet and she'll be all ready. It's so Farm-housy don't ya think??

This 5pc set sold before I had a chance to list it, so I wanted to share some pics of it since I won't be posting it with my available pieces shortly. I priced the long dresser separately but painted it to match, in the hopes it would all be purchased together and it was! This set is solid wood and the tops came out beautifully. Some of the pulls broke, so I had to improvise and change out to k***s across the top drawers. Thank you to our amazing customers, you motivate us and keep us on our toes!!
