There’s a wonderful 19th century Chinese silk fan with local provenance, a vintage wrought iron hanging planter, a sweet 1940s toy dresser, a very rare Minton majolica Palissy ewer, equine books and collectibles and many other decorative items for your shopping pleasure. It’s been several weeks since we updated our newest offerings in our booth #371 at the Grand Antique Mall on Reading Road in Cincinnati. Among other fresh to the market items are early Franciscan “Desert Rose” tableware (early 1939-1949 backstamp in pristine condition), a Kaiser porcelain bisque figure of a falconer and his falcon, some wall decor with a ornithological motif, 6 hand painted floral wine glasses, and a Louis XVI-style armchair. We’re open for picking from 10-6 Monday through Saturday and noon to 6 on Sunday. Don’t forget the Tri-State Antique Market starts on May 5 at the fairgrounds in Lawrenceburg. There’s a very rare pair of Royal Winton chintz table lamps, a framed Chinese embroidery, some original outsider art and a nice selection of MCM tablewares. It’s been far too long since we updated you on what’s happening at our booth #371 at the Grand Antique Mall on Reading Road in Cincinnati. We’ve added some neat MCM tableware and some sweet miniature Native American baskets. And, just in time for Easter we have an original Audubon hand colored lithograph of Western Cottontail rabbits from the Viviparous Quadrupeds of North America, plus a great red Western hat in red. There’s a rare large Pigeon Forge Pottery barn owl signed by the founder Donald Ferguson, a pristine circa 1900 white ironstone hotel pitcher, an Orrefors crystal MCM bowl, a Villeroy & Boch oil and vinegar, and 2 lovely chandeliers -one with amazing etched ombré shades. There’s more glitzy accessories, cut glass, French porcelain ormolu mounted garniture vase, a fat little Anderson Design Studios sandpiper and a rare 1923 Rookwood dog show award given by the Southern Ohio Field Trial Assn. at their annual Decoration Day bench show. Executed in a lovely matte glaze with a raised motif of two pointing setters. We’re open for picking from 10-6 Monday through Saturday and noon to 6 on Sunday, so come visit!
