We are proud to also support the John Paul ll Center for Special Learning
that “ encourages children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to explore their purpose and reach for goals through unique special education and social programming”.
They may have a representative present on race day so please take a moment to stop by to speak with them and learn more about the important work that they do.
John Paul II Center Special Education for Children and Adults
One of the best and maybe most important thing that Run4Sam does annually is to donate to 3 local non profits that positively impact our community, (the others will be profiled in upcoming posts).
This year we have given $1,500.00 to Red Creek Wildlife Center.com
They “offer a second chance to distressed Pa wildlife through rescue and rehabilitation, public education, and by providing training for wildlife rehabilitators”.
Check out some of the amazing work they do….
Don’t forget that we have a Kids Fun Run every year that is always a highlight of the event. All kids get a really awesome swag bag with lots of goodies and everyone is a winner!

Run4Sam has always supported the Samuel Brooklyn Reed Scholarship at BCCF. This year there was a scoring tie between two very worthy candidates. Rather than having the reward divided, we covered the full amount of the second scholarship so both students received the full amount.
Congratulations to both Aiden Konetsky and Alexis Seymour!
This is just a part of what we do….. help us to continue our mission of “giving back” by joining us to run or walk at Run4Sam’24 on Sunday 8/18/24!
