It was recently announced that the presidential administration’s $15k first-time homebuyer tax credit— previously just a campaign promise— is now a bonafide bill.

Introduced by Reps. Earl Blumenaur and Jimmy Panetta, it outlines a tax credit equal to 10% of a home’s purchase price or $15,000, whichever is less.
