I really appreciate when someone allows me to post their before and Afters, it allows me to showcase my work!

In this particular case, the patient had an important event to go to and needed to look refreshed fast! However, I noticed that her skin and integrity needed improvement and she also had hyperpigmentation around her mouth. In order to tackle both volume loss and to improve her skin integrity we performed filler and PRF gel together and then two months later we performed a second session with PRF and additional filler.

She had dramatic improvement of both her skin, integrity, and volume after one session! At her 2 month follow up, her skin was literallly glowing and her hyperpigmentation had dramatically improved.

The other day I left the office completely exhausted beyond belief to the point of tears. I was drained, tired, emotional, missed my fam ( Hormonal and 7 mo pregnant doesn’t add to this). It was just one of those days you just had to kick off your shoes cuz your feet hurt so much.

How much filler do you typically add for patients with thin M-shaped lips?

M-shaped lips have been arguable the most challenging lip pattern to treat, so I approach these patients with a long discussion and strategy. I add small amounts of filler over several months until we have reached our goal. Typically I don’t like to add more than .5cc of filler in a single visit into the lips.
So what happens to the rest of the syringe? I sometimes place it in other areas around the face. Over time, with adding more lip volume I usually have to start adding more filler in the surrounding areas for support of the lips….. even in younger patients.

There are so many things that improved here….Check out how much better the jawline and marionettes look! But also look at the improvement of her skin quality, acne and skin tone and texture so much more improved.
Initially when seeing her for a consult I was explained that using Kybella, a Liquid Lipo, can be helpful prior to Morpheus to melt away stubborn fat pads. However, we decided to go forth without it and this is the result.
For large stubborn fat pads, Morpheus may not be enough and we may have to do other treatments such as Kybella, Lipo etc.

This patient was so beautiful to begin with but now she is just glowing. She had 3 Morpheus sessions to improve her overall look and help with her jawline and submentum, which I’ll post next because it deserves a post of its own.
She had 1 PRF Gel session, 2 PRF sessions injected under eyes and placed on skin after each session of Morpheus x 3.
You can see that her jawline looks more defined, her eyes are more refreshed, acne has improved, the skin quality over all looks so much better, her marionettes and nasolabial folds are softer. We also placed a little PRF Gel into her lips especially more on her asymmetric side.

This is 1 week after 1 Morpheus and treatment with Filler. We had to get her ready in a hurry for an important event otherwise I would usually recommend at least 3 sessions of Morpheus then would do filler.

Here I used RHA Redensity, RHA2 and RHA3 a total of 4 syringes. I used Redensity for those deep stubborn smokers lines and the rest was scattered throughout the NLF, Marionettes, cheeks.
You can see there is significant volume loss and she still needs more filler and Morpheus. But we were able to get her to her event looking so much more refreshed!

❤️Only 1 week after Morpheus 8. This helped to tighten her skin making the appearance her wrinkles diminish. These smokers lines are extremely difficult to get rid of and can take several treatments to improve them even with doing filler. I will be posting her immediately after filler results so stay tuned!

🥺Why are your lips shrinking? Almost on a regular basis, women patients will tell me that their lips are not as big as they use to be, “my lips are deflated”, “my lipsticks is bleeding along my lip lines”, “my lips are dry”, “my lips look like they have so many lines”, etc…
🧬Usually I find that this is a complaint that starts coming up for 40-50 year olds. We never consider that our lips would age as well as our face!
🧬How do the lips age?
As we age, so do the lips! This means we lose volume, collagen and elastin which helps to keep the structural aspects of the lips intact. This results in loss of definition, development of lines, and loss of support for structures around the lips causing increased lengthening between the nose and lip as well as downward turning of the angles of the mouth.
🧬Why are my lips getting dry and have lots of lines?
As we age we loss several aspects of Hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic Acid helps to keep our skin and lips plump and hydrated. As we age, we are not producing as much Hyaluronic Acid as we once did when we were young. Then we also loss our ability to retain the natural Hyaluronic Acid found within our skin, lips and body. This can ultimately make our lips look dry and shriveled😖. As one patient put it “ it looks like I have bu****le lips”😂🤣.
