Our Community Coordinator, Nicole, and Kristina from the Mental Health Association of Monmouth County explain how JBJ Soul Kitchen partners with other community resources to ensure our unhoused neighbors have a safe place to stay on the hottest and coldest nights throughout the year. It’s been a very hot summer in New Jersey so far, and our team is prepared to continue feeding our patrons a nutritious meal before they travel to the cooling center. It is a day to celebrate those who, without fanfare or attention, work daily to help those in need. The Walk brings organizations together to network and spread awareness of each other’s missions. We walk to show citizens and business owners the work being done by so many. We are stronger when we work together.
