It was an honor to welcome Speaker Emerita of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi and her family to JBJ Soul Kitchen, Governor Phil Murphy and First Lady Tammy Murphy joined us as well. They had a true JBJ Soul Kitchen experience and witnessed our impact on our community.

Our garden is full of fresh produce! 🍆🥬🌶️ We pick our veggies straight from our garden—eggplant, cucumber, lettuce, peppers, and more. We can’t wait to see what the chefs create using them in our upcoming menus! 😍

Our team was so grateful to attend the 2024 National Conference on Ending Homelessness, presented by NAEH. Our Community Coordinators and Executive Chef had the chance to engage with like-minded individuals dedicated to spreading awareness and breaking the cycle of hunger, poverty, and homelessness. The conference addressed crucial resources for combatting homelessness including how to identify those affected by homelessness, and exploring available assistance programs.
