As part of the ongoing effort to enhance player development opportunities locally, the Atlantic Affiliate Player Development Program hosted its first High Performance Clinic this spring. The clinic offered participants an opportunity to learn new skills from high-level coaches, including college and junior coaches who these players normally do not have the opportunity to work with.

Master the Crease Goaltending is proud to announce our 4th annual Summer Goaltending Development Camp.

Where?
Red Bank Armory Ice Complex Red Bank NJ

When?
Camp starts Monday August 5th and will continue through Wednesday August 7th.

What kind of training does your goaltender receive at camp?

Small group to coach ratio!
3 goalies to every 1 coach with a limit of 21 goalies on the ice per session.

On ice:
7 1/2 hours of on ice training
1 hour in first session & 1 1/2 hours in afternoon session.

Off ice training:
Christian Valvano will run the
45 minute daily off ice gym training session focusing on building foot sp*ed, agility, mobility, balance, and coordination.

Yoga session:
Carmen Chicola will run the
45 minute daily off ice yoga training session focusing on proper stretching, muscle recovery and the building of core strength which is crucial for goaltenders.

Class room / video:
30 minute daily chalkboard/ video session promoting goalie hockey IQ awareness, technical / tactical fundamentals and basic strategy of the position.

Very important!!

We will have an on site professional athletic trainer all through camp.

Lauren Barry is currently the AT for Red Bank Catholic High School and was previously the AT for the Metropolitan Riveters (NWHL)

All goalies will receive a camp jersey. Campers are required to bring their own lunches. A lunch menu can be provided at camp with pre ordered lunches from the cafe. Also campers need to wear sneakers work out / gym attire. No sandals.

Once you receive a e-mail confirmation a reservation at camp you will need to send a non-refundable down payment of $450 either via check, Venmo and or cash.

Final payment of $425 is due no later then May 1st.

Our Teams USA are undefeated following the first day of international play. Yesterday, the teams faced off against Austria and Germany, managing to hold off the two European powerhouses.

The Devils are seeking beginner Mite goalies to play in their Spring Cross-Ice League at RWJBarnabas Health Hockey House (attached to Prudential Center) on Monday nights @ 7pm thru June 12th. The program includes (3) 15 minute cross-ice games featuring Devils Learn to Play graduates.

Goaltender Tyler Muszelik from Long Valley, N.J. was selected in the sixth round of the 2022 NHL Draft by the Florida Panthers. A member of the 2022 U.S. Under-18 Men’s National Team, he used to play for the New Jersey Rockets.
