The 132nd Multi-Role Bridge Company is a California Army National Guard Unit based out of Redding CA
On Order, the 132nd Multi-Role Bridge Company (MRBC) will mobilize and deploy to emplace fixed/floating bridge systems, provide transportation of palletized cargo to support full spectrum operations as directed by State or federal military authorities.

Visitors at Black Butte Dam and Lake in Orland, California, caught more than fish and scenic lake views between April 29 - May 3. Some visitors witnessed how the U.S. Army National Guard create floating, mobile bridges in a matter of minutes!

132nd MRBC (Horizontal Engineers) 12N Section led by SSG Herring expanding the Camp Roberts Airfield during Annual Training 2023.
12C - Bridge Crewmember is one of the most unique jobs in the Army. Bridge Crewmembers provide bridge and rafting support for dry and wet gap-crossing operations when a squad, section or platoon tackles rough terrain in combat situations.

Private 1st Class Ailish Carmichael is a Bridge Crewmember (12C) in the 132nd MRBC out of Redding, California. Carmichael is originally from Greenville, California and started her military career as a junior in high school with the Recruitment Sustainment Program (RSP).
"I joined the California National Guard because I wanted to keep our military tradition alive. My father, brother, and grandparents all served. I chose 12C because I love to be outside and what other job can you do that you are on the water all day?"
