A busy weekend at FCCC! 9am - Daylight Savings Breakfast Since you will be so well-rested on this Sunday morning, we hope you will join us for our annual Daylight Savings Breakfast at 9am. We promise pancakes, bacon, eggs, and other delicious breakfast items. A donation of $5 per person is requested to cover expenses. Volunteers needed: If you are interested in helping with this fun event, please contact Ashley. See you at breakfast! 10am - Worship & Communion Following Worship - Inquirers Are you new to First Church? If you would like to learn about the history and faith perspectives of our Congregational/United Church of Christ heritage and explore the option of becoming a member of our church family, you may be interested in joining us on Sunday, November 6, or Sunday, December 4, following worship for an orientation session in one of the upstairs Sunday school classrooms that is open to all. If you would like to come, please contact [email protected] or call the church office at 203-938-2004. If you decide that you would like to join our congregation, our New Member Sundays will be November 20 and December 11, during the 10:00 AM morning service. 12-4pm - Fall Campus Cleanup Please join us to help winterize our campus. Bring garden tools if you have them, such as: rakes, edgers, spades, forks, wheel barrows, weeding & pruning tools, power tools & fuel (chain saws, pruners, clippers, extension cords, protective eyewear, etc.). A powerful leaf blower, or two would be most helpful. A light, warm lunch will be provided. Unable to attend? Please volunteer an hour or two any day convenient for your schedule. All flower beds will need to be pruned back by the clean-up date. If you have questions, contact Deb Rakich. Thank you and hope to see you outside!
