The clock is ticking! Governor Newsom proposed delaying a $1 billion investment in critical supports for Californians with developmental disabilities. Our community has faced underfunding for decades, weakening services. Delaying this funding is a cut to services and one of the largest proposed delays in the Governor’s 2024-25 budget. This setback undermines the promise of the Lanterman Act.

The Legislature supports our community and rejects any delays or cuts in funding. We have until JUNE 6 to tell the Governor to and accept the Legislature’s budget plan!
