Cypress will be hosting an informational night for all RSDNMP families in order to share about both the Accelerated College Education (ACE) program and Bachelor’s Through Online Degrees (BOLD) program. You will have an opportunity to learn about how to get a degree or certificate in as little as 10 months to 2 years.

Childcare and dinner are provided. We are excited to share this opportunity, hope to see you there.

Turtle Bay Exploration Park Event
Spooky Science features a series of hands-on experiments that combine scientific principles with Halloween themes. Science Saturday is an educational program designed to inspire guests of all ages to explore the natural world and all its wonders through experiments, demonstrations, and other activities.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 10 am to 2 pm, and join the City of Redding for a free, fun-filled day at the Sundial Bridge!

This new event is packed with exciting seasonal festivities for the whole family! Enjoy kid-friendly games, face painting, and a "Name That Truck" contest featuring City vehicles. Ride along in a Tesla Cybertruck and test drive other electric vehicle options from local dealers at an REU Ride and Drive event. Prepare to be enchanted by performances from magicians, stilt walkers, and fire dancers and get to know electrification through hands-on demonstrations. Explore City booths to learn about important community topics like water conservation, school safety, and local programs while playing games and winning prizes. Feel free to get in the spirit and come dressed in costume! Food and drink vendors will be on site with goodies available for purchase.

These Cypress teachers LOVED the CRLP training today in the new Professional Development Center at the Redding School District. Go Cougars!

Today the Redding School District hosted a training with the California Reading and Literature Project (CRLP). Teachers from across our district and county came together to continue to develop their content knowledge and expand their teaching strategies specifically in the field of literacy. We continue to lead the charge to ensure all students learn to read!
