Today members of the Asphalt Cowboys cooked breakfast for the Lassen View Elementary welcome back day. Students and family were invited to come to the school to meet and greet teachers and staff and to become familiar with the campus. It was a huge success with well over 400 world famous pancakes and sausage meals served. We love our community especially being able to make a lasting impression on our younger future generations. Wishing all students a successful school year and more importantly to our community to pay extra attention the next few days as students make their way back to class. Road will be busier allow extra time, be patient and arrive safely. Hope to see you soon at our annual BBQ in the Lake Redding Park September 8.

We might not be in a total bind,
but this duo left us stewing.
As many found magnificent,
serenading was their undoing.
Another fun stop while out judging those that decorated.
The Strangers are still on the loose and the loot has not been found. Please help bring these two to justice along with the loot. The reward today is $400.

This morning, at approximately 8:44, the Lone Strangers struck again. This time the target was Cornerstone Community Bank in Downtown Redding. The bumbling Asphalt Cowboys were thwarted once again! Now it's up to the great citizens of Shasta County to un-mask the Strangers and find the loot. Today, the reward stands at $500 each for identifying the Strangers and finding the loot. To identify, call 530-223-1188. If you find the loot, follow the instructions with the loot. Remember the loot is never on private property and is in plain sight. Good luck and have fun!
