Higher Ground Counseling
Higher Ground Counseling Services works with Northern California churches and schools to assist individuals from all walks of life.
This interview addresses the question, “Is therapy the problem, not the solution.” Sending your children to the wrong therapist can be detrimental. Teens may need a kick in the butt, not emotional enabling over insane bu****it. Higher Ground Counseling has no concern of what is politically correct. Only what is good for our children. Most of our culture and politics are destructive. We see our role at Higher Ground Counseling as being supportive of parents trying to protect their teens from our insane culture, public education, and psychological/philosophical lies. We are here to help!! 530-941-9003

The title of my study is: Therapeutic Perspectives of Contributing Factors in Law Enforcement Psychological Trauma.

New studies are raising more "red flags" about "gender-affirming care" for minors, said Ian Kingsbury. Astudy in Finland headed by adolescent psychiatrist Riittakerttu Kaltiala, who has worked with more than 500 transitioning teens, found that the standard protocol of puberty blockers and cross-gender hormones did not resolve the emotional problems of most transitioning teens, with 53 percent receiving psychiatric help after gender reassignment, compared with 15 percent before the interventions. Kaltiala has found that the majority of teens who have gender dysphoria today were born female and have suffered serious developmental and mental health problems for years; more than 25 percent are on the autism spectrum. Many transitioners come to regret hormonal interventions and their serious side effects, Kaltiala said. "They were not thriving," she said. "Instead, their lives were deteriorating." A Canadian study of 28 "detransitioners" revealed that "they were not properly informed of the risks, complications, and limitations of the treatments," with great regret arising years later. The reality is that "many trans-identified children are vulnerable and confused," and that treating all gender dysphoria with "irreversible medical interventions is irrational and cruel."
