Gheen Builders Inc. is proud to partner with Semingson Architecture on a new project in downtown Redding. This will be a 3 story, 90,000 sq. ft. air-conditioned indoor storage facility for a national client. The building pad is so large, we had to get a picture with the owner’s rep and our Superintendent Scott in it for reference. A shout-out to Birdseye Electric and Eddie Axner Construction for helping us make great progress regardless of the weather! Stay tuned for updates as we move forward with the project.

Gheen Builders has been busy with final inspections and last minute items for the Grand Opening of the Eureka Way Starbucks in only 2 more days! Site signage is lit up, and the Starbucks team has started stocking the store and training the staff. The new drive-through / walk-up only prototype is new to Starbucks in this area, and should prove to be an efficient location on a very busy street.

With the vibrant colors and modern bright LED lighting, the Learning Express space at the Mt. Shasta Mall is going to look great! Shout out to Sierra Painting, Hanes Flooring, and Birdseye Electric for all of the hard work this week. Thanks guys!

Eureka Way Starbucks sidewalk replacement commenced last night. Due to the Highway 299 frontage, traffic control and overnight work is required to avoid disruptions to traffic during the day. We’re glad to have Platinum Construction and Gheen Builders Superintendent, Scott onsite to make sure everything runs smooth. Only 2 more nights to go guys, great job!

Mt. Shasta Mall - Learning Express project milestones reached! Gard HVAC set the AC unit on the roof before sunrise to avoid the morning Mall traffic. Yesterday the drywall texture was applied, and painter is getting started today. Shout-out to Empire Drywall, Birdseye Electric, Woods Plumbing, Gard HVAC, Sierra Painting and of course GBI’s ringmaster Scott for coordinating the many trades involved! Stay tuned for updates.

Gheen Builders, Inc. started work this week on the new Learning Express store in the Mt. Shasta Mall next to Sprouts and Theory Coffee. In one of the last vacant spaces in the recent Mall expansion, this will be a great addition to the Mall's variety of stores. Stay tuned for updates!

Be on the lookout for this Grand Jeep Cherokee. This morning at 4:00AM they broke into Gheen Builders, Inc. equipment yard and stole a cutting torch kit, paint sprayer,etc., damaged several trailers and fencing. If you see this vehicle or know these people or there whereabouts, please, reach out to us. We have already been in contact with the Shasta County Sheriff's Office. Any help catching these thieves would be greatly appreciated.

Gheen Builders Inc. has teamed up with California Gold Development to bring a new Petco store to the Churn Creek Marketplace. Our management team has been busy behind the scenes to secure materials and issue subcontracts, and the field team has been wasting no time getting this project out of the ground. Concrete slab for Retails 3A & 3B started at 3:00 am this morning to beat the Redding heat.

Gheen Builders Inc. welcomes Fidelity National Title to their new home at 2001 Market St, Redding, Ca. With the exterior renovation in 2021, and the recent interior remodel with high-end finishes throughout, we’re sure that the new tenants will enjoy their new location for many years to come!

• Implement cost-effective solutions and construction management techniques
• Maintain daily log of build-out progress

• Update management on build-out progress or delays throughout project
• Perform final walkthrough of project

Requirements and Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in commercial construction preferred
• 3+ years of experience as a construction superintendent preferred
• Proficient with computers
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Management skills, experience in team and project management
• Ability to work with and manage a team of contractors and subcontractors
• Organized with a strong work ethic
• Critical thinker, problem-solver
