When Roger Van Craeynest was a boy of thirteen he began working for Shreve & Co, on Union Square in San Francisco. Following in the tradition of the masters of Europe, Van Craeynest was founded in 1926 as an apprenticeship shop. It remains today as the premier die struck, pierced, carved, chased and engraved antique style jewelry company in the United States.
There is no better feeling than seeing the final product! The long hours of handwork that go into these definitely pay off.
