This client rocks her natural texture all the time but wanted to add a fun color. She originally wanted a pastel but I advised her that going that light would change if not cause her to loose the shape of her curl. If you have curly hair you should ask your stylist if the color you are aiming for will effect your natural curl. If so ask what is a comparable alternative.

If you want texture with out sacrificing shine you definitely need “Miss Mess” by Matrix! This is my holy grail to achieve that fashion forward textured lob and this is how I use it!
After I curl the hair (1.25in iron) break up the curls with a wide tooth comb. Then use your hand to lift the hair in the crown and SPRAY! Shake out for that tousled effortless look.
Also the scent is out of this world - BONUS!

TRANSFORMATION!! Swipe for before… Ladies even going brown is a process. We had just colored her hair copper on the previous appointment so I had to battle the red out!! I reapplied lightener with olaplex 3X to highlights till the red was gone. Took hours but the results speak for themselves.
