Came back from Oahu with a brand new 2023 college graduate. Congratulations on your Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Rehabilitation Sciences from the University of Hawaii at Manoa!

We’re so proud of you! My favorite part was seeing how happy you were at your ceremony. Loved seeing your family and friends celebrating your special day!

I loved your stole that had the flags from the Philippines and Bolivia so that your Grandmothers could walk with you!

Introducing my new wing man and assistant coach: Maverick

At 8-months, he’s the youngest puppy we’ve ever adopted. Excited to establish our bond and have a dog again.

When Xena passed, we were so heartbroken that we said we would wait at least a year before thinking about adopting another dog. A few months later, we had Korra.

We said the same thing after Korra passed. But just a few months later, we adopted Maverick. I love how he follows Val wherever she goes and everything feels right again in the house.

He doesn’t sit still long enough for photos yet so I’ll share some photos from his foster mom.

Who cares what other people think. Life is too short. It’s not all for nothing. You are strong enough to do hard things. Doing what you love makes success more likely. When you are brave, the universe rewards you. Fortune favors the bold!
