By choosing to shop local and empower your holiday shopping dollars we are able to continue to partner with and support Labateyah in their mission to help youth move from “homelessness to permanent housing and self-sufficiency.” We are honored to deliver a check to Labateyah for $6,840.35!!!

Ballard Gives begins this morning and our resident December Art Walk artist started a new tradition a couple of years ago by donating a gorgeous piece of her work for silent auction to support Labateyah Youth Home! This year’s work “Harmony” is a beautiful tribute to our Salish Sea Orca burned on a basswood round. Silent bidding opens in-store this morning at $150 with the winning bid to be announced at the close of Art Walk on December 9th!

It's time for our annual Ballard Gives event! Celebrating 10 years of Ballard Gives, we will continue our partnership with Labateyah Youth Home. Many of you may remember a few years ago when we raised funds for new mattresses & bed frames. This year, to support Labateyah with items that fall outside traditional funding paths, we have a goal of raising $5,000 to help replace window coverings and dressers in the youths’ bedrooms. To do this, we will be donating 20% of our in-store and online sales from this Friday, 11/24 through Monday, 11/27.
