Celebrating Malbec World Day today which commemorates the day when the President of Argentina tasked a French soil expert to bring over new vines to Argentina in 1853. Among the selection was Malbec which has since flourished with more than 10,000 acres planted. April 17th marks the transformation of Argentina’s wine industry with Malbec becoming Argentina’s flagship varietal. And a special thanks to Morgan at Uncorked Truckee for the recommendation. Salud!

2017 Cabernet harvest went awesome and already half way through fermentation. Another great year awaits. Thanks to the crew at Dogpatch WineWorks.
