The Manhattan Beach 10K Run is happening next month on October 5. They have opened up registration in our Manhattan Beach store if you’d like to come in, sign up, and shop to prepare for the race! Prices will increase this Friday so we encourage you to do so today or tomorrow. We are open daily 11am-6pm.

Kinda obsessed with these shoes Brooks Running Glycerin GTS. They are super lightweight but lots of cushion. Took them out for 4 miles today & I probably should have bought two pairs! Grabbed these last weekend at my favorite local running shop Village Runner South Bay during their Sidewalk sale.

This Saturday is the Dick Fitzgerald 2 Mile Sand Run, conducted by the Mira Costa XC & Track teams. Proceeds from the run go back to the teams. The race is named after former Director of the Department of Beaches Dick Fitzgerald who helped start the International Surf Festival. We’ll meet you on the sand!
