Therapeutic Botox Hands on Workshop, and Bruxism understanding and management
www.icontact-archive.com Throughout the comprehensive,1.5-day, lecture and LIVE hands-on workshop, dental practitioners will learn how to implement adjunctive therapies to manage Bruxism into their patients' treatment plans to optimize the final treatment outcome of dental cases.
We run a program that is like a mini residency for dental implants for any California licensed dentist. We have 1 location in Redwood City in Silicon Valley founded in 2007 by Ihab hanna dds. Diplomate ABOI
and in 2022 we will be starting another location in Santa Ana, Orange County, in Southern California (plans to expand to the midwest are afoot). This program runs for 10 months of the year with a total of 3 days a month with July as vacation and December is for students who missed days during the year to catch up on surgery requirements.
There are 3 levels to the program depending on skill and improvement levels.
The program is run by stable, highly skilled & harmonious staff -doctors and RDA's, a lot of whom are extended function assistants- where everybody is on the same page and the students do not get conflicting information.
It is extremely intensive and comprehensive. Some of the highlights are:
1) Rigorous training in CT reading, and implant planning using software to prosthetically place implants successfully with or without guides that the students learn how to plan and fabricate.
2) Extensive and repetitive training during surgery starting with soft tissue assessment, management and surgeries, such as CTG and FGG and employment of CGF & PRF AND PET where needed.
3) All different manners of bone handling and regeneration and grafting, with ridge preservation and a multitude of methods to approach the maxillary sinus and augment it.
4) Special training is given on restoring single and multiple implants all the way up to full arch restoration.
5) We own our own lab with different software to design our own cases, full acrylic, Ti Bars, Custom abutments, PFM and Zirconia restorations, etc..... thus exposing the students to full analogue and full digital workflows with pros and cons of each.
Moreover, we only accept a limited number of doctors per year and allow some of the wait-listed applicants to audit the classes and the surgeries for reinforcement of sound surgical and restorative concepts.
I would like to emphasize that we strongly 'nudge' the students to immediately start applying the knowledge gained as soon as they learn it by providing them with FREE things that are pertinent to whatever they learnt that week/month; for example allograft bone so they could do multiple bone grafting after extraction, or a soft tissue surgical kit and the most common would be implants thus allowing incentivizing appliance of the science and benefiting financially which would make their financial investment in the course almost negligible.
All that and much more. And, yes, we are almost too good to be true. The invitation always stands for any one to come see the place and observe how we teach and treat our students and patients.
There is also a separately arranged 10 day trip abroad to do surgeries in a developing country in a hospital setting. It is not limited to program attendees, while they are encouraged to go on that trip, yet we also allow others to come along and participate in a wonderful experience of learning and literally changing lives. The fee for that trip includes airfare, 5 star hotel stay and all the tours in the wonderful historical setting of Pharaonic Egypt.
We truly believe in the merits of such approach to teaching general dentists and some specialists who want to get into the world of dental implants and with the thrust of general dentists entering into that world today and the limited training dental schools offer, WE BELIEVE WE ARE THE BEST THING AFTER SPECIALTY PROGRAMS.
Would love to hear back from you.
Warmest regards,
