Glenn and Ann Cohen, married for over 50 years, have dedicated their lives to helping others. Upon retirement, they have volunteered at Sequoia Hospital for over 10 years. Glenn volunteers in the surgery waiting rooms, while Ann engages with visitors and welcomes conversation to help relieve stress.

They have become an important part of the hospital community, making significant contributions through their Individual Retirement Account (IRA) and meeting their required minimum distribution (RMD). Their commitment and dedication have made a significant impact on Sequoia Hospital and the patients it serves.

Congratulations to the 2024 Dr. William Kennett Memorial Nursing Scholarship awardees!

The Sequoia Hospital Foundation held our Dr. William Kennett Memorial Nursing Scholarship Reception on Thursday, March 14, 2024. It was a wonderful evening to see so many individuals come together to celebrate the deserving nursing students who were awarded scholarships this year.

The Kennett Scholarship Program has awarded a total of 140 scholarships, amounting to $1,602,000 since its inception in 2005. This program provides financial support for student nurses in partnership with the San Francisco State University Bachelor of Science Nursing (BSN) program. Scholarship awards are funded through an annual donor solicitation campaign conducted by the Sequoia Hospital Foundation.
