GLSEN, a national organization that supports LGBTQ+ students (and staff) in school districts, sponsors a major survey of school-age youth – – 13 y/o and over. (The survey collects information about frequency of bullying, hearing anti-queer comments from other students and or teachers, support from administrators, etc, etc.)
If there is enough participation within any given state, they will generate a “State SnapShot” that shows the data from respondents in that particular state. DE has never had enough participation to enable that State SnapShot which we could use for lobbying efforts.
We encourage all LGBTQ+ Youth in Delaware to take the survey now. The survey can be completed anytime before mid-September (in English or Spanish). Take the Survey at glsen.us/nscs-english or glsen.us/nscs-spanish

LGBTQ+ Youth smoke and v**e at higher rates than cis/straight youth. What is Delaware doing about it?
is a campaign of the Muslim Youth Leadership Council at Advocates for Youth — a group of young Muslims from across the country that work to challenge and expand common perceptions of Muslims, both within and outside of our communities.
As Muslims, we are not monolithic. Instead of saying “I am Muslim, but…” young Muslims are claiming an intersectional space and saying that we are . Now more than ever, we must call attention to the diversity, expansiveness, and intersectionality of our community. We are Q***r, Feminist, Afro-Latinx, Angry, 5th Generation American, Nonbinary, and more.
This year's Week will take place from May 20th - May 24th and anyone can sign up here to take part in the digital components. Sign up here: https://tinyurl.com/muslimand
