This fall, I am looking to expand our PremiereHTS line of leather seating. Our 12 models of theater seating, the Series ll and the Series lll, are selling at record levels due to the decision of families not to return the the public movie theaters.

The additions will expand on our selection of occasional furniture or entertainment/family room sectionals, couches, configurations and chairs. Our factory history centers around three generations of heirloom quality seating expertise. Not everyone is building a isolated, dedicated theater room.

My local office/showroom will begin showcasing some of these new styles and configuration. Along with that expansion, there are other interior design items I represent here in northern Nevada and the greater Truckee Meadows. A group of designers here are becoming repeat customers with their clients.

My passion is to also get back to my roots. My experience in audio dates back to 1973 with the opening of my retail store in Southern California, “The Audiophile.” The name pretty much tells the story.

I am researching what are today’s most cost effective, state of the art listening stations and simple music reproduction components. Many aging adults who once were the heartbeat of my business, are now in the position to afford and enjoy the music and passion they love.

Fine Art, Photography, Furnishings, Area Rugs and Accessories are also beginning to fill our showroom. I am also looking to expand our space and hope within our current business park I will find the room. I love the, “By Appointment Only,” model. It reminds me of a very early day when I first began selling stereo equipment from my house. High-End audio really launch in many private showrooms/homes back in the day! Reno Home Furnishings is dialing back to that concept.

What better time than now with this “new normal,” keeping everyone locked up! Shopping for anything has become a real, “pain in the ass!”

I will be announcing the “official opening,” early this fall when I feel we have more of a complete showroom... But I am already open and busier than I expected!

I have launched our new website, but it is still under construction. Forms and contact e-mails are being set up now, so hang tight. The showroom is being freshened up and new items are on the way.

Our leather furniture in the PremiereHTS line is not only Theater Seating, but expanding to offers entertainment sectionals and occasional furniture.

Our Fine Art collection continues to expand and our new arrivals seem to happen every week. I scoured estate sales and auctions. I have a stable a great photographers with collections that span the world! I have posted some of my favorite published shots from my magazine days!

Area Rug displays are now showing complete lines and assortments. Accessories like amazing gear clocks, root tables, lighting, etc., will arrive soon.

But the one category I am looking to add is audiophile music reproduction at an affordable prices. As the audiophile population continues to age, the dream of that esoteric stereo system never fades. True music lovers don’t need today’s latest big screen! Close your eyes, sit back and escape to the concert! Stay tuned!!
