☀️Beans beans the magical fruit...
✨Beans are excellent sources of fiber, folate, plant protein, iron, vitamin B1, and minerals, all while being naturally low in sodium.
🤷‍♀️Canned Beans or Cooked Beans? Canned beans cost about three times more than dried beans, but dried beans can take hours to cook.
✨Nutrition-they're about the same, but sodium content of canned beans can be 100 times higher. Draining and rinsing canned beans can get rid of about half the sodium, but you’re also draining and rinsing away some of the nutrition...
🙆So, if I have time I go for dried and soak/slow cook them, if not I'll opt for low sodium canned.
