Encapsulating placentas for a twin family. I received the placenta with the strong layers of membranes that provided a divider, giving each baby their own bag of water, still intact. Kinda cool.

As we welcome the new year, I feel immense gratitude for the almost 50 families who allowed me the honor of helping support them on their birth day. Can’t wait to see who joins us this year!

After this midwife had a nice long break from births for some R&R for the summer, this guy was born last week. Happy birthday, Baby!
