Rebekah Nevada Lodge #7

Just quite update, the lodge raised 75 pair's of socks for the vets.

President Jay's official visit to his home lodge. Brother Jay loves camels. So we had camel races, and since his wife and I traveled with him around the state of Nevada we were collecting dirt on him, so after the races he was taken to Rebekah court. Charges were, speeding to lodge,being late to lodge, having his phone on during lodge, and for picking on his wife during lodge. (who is a past president) the speeding and being late to lodge were dropped. However having the phone on he was found guilty and sentenced to two trips around the lodge hall. He was also found guilty of picking on his wife , and sentenced to 50 lashes with wet noodles. Each sister present got to do 10 lashes each.

You are invited to join a great cause. Socks for vets. We will be having a get together for our holiday party on December 19,2022. It will start at 7pm, just bring some new socks for men or women and join the fun. We meet at 1300 Stardust, Reno NV. IOOF hall. Hope to see some of you there.

Sister Erma was a member in California. She attended many of Nevada's Rebekah sessions. She had many friends in the state. She was a wonderful lady, always had a smile and a hug for everyone. She was the Assembly Marshal when i took my degree ( many many moons ago).Freinds with my parents and became my friend that day.
