Prenatal massage is a massage that is specifically designed for pregnant women.
Carrying a baby inside you changes your center of gravity and puts a lot of stress on your back, neck, abdominal muscles, and shoulders. Pregnancy also relaxes your ligaments, so that your pelvic joints are less stable, and changes your posture, pulling your pelvis forward. Add to that the extra weight you’re carrying and you may find you’ve got an aching lower back.

Pregnancy Massage is just as important for mother as it is for baby. Studies have shown that, when you receive a relaxing prenatal massage, the body naturally secretes endorphins. These “feel good” hormones traverse the placenta and ultimately soothe and relax your baby.

Study after study has proven that calmness in the mother leads to healthier in-utero development. Regular prenatal massage can help prepare you for labor by making the pelvis more supple.
