This one is a special one. We started looking in March of this year, criteria was Delmar area, Bethlehem schools. Between open houses and showings (15), and 5 offers, we finally closed on one today. After 30 years in the business, I even took a class on winning multiple offers to make sure I wasn’t missing anything. We’d tried every tactic out there to win one. Seller had army gear in the basement and a lawn ornament honoring the military. When I submitted the offer at the end of it, I added thank the seller for his service, we appreciate it. I got the call we got the house and we were not the highest offer that day. Felt good to win it for this family

Had a closing Friday where the buyer was under the age of 21. Only reason those at the closing table found out was because mortgage broker sent up a bottle of wine and attorney couldn’t legally give it to him. Kudos to the parents for raising a mature 20 year old whose goal was to own his own home. They realize it’s the only thing that will make you money some day!
