“Dash is very friendly and he didn’t stop purring as I pet him with the kennel door open. Squiggle was also happy to get some pets, and seemed much more interested in me than she was last week when she was out of the cage. These kittens are both so gorgeous and social.” From one of our volunteers today. Thank you Andrew!

⚡️Power outage ⚡️ at Feline Friends of Sammamish today, probably all day, until 7-8pm tonight. On the closeup map, we are located near the words “Coalfield”

Luckily, keeps us updated. We have windows for light but the cats still need to be fed. Coincidentally, we are also doing a deep clean this weekend so thank goodness our hand stick vacuum is charged!

“Sharpie is such a sweet kitty with a very loud purr machine! She sat beside me on the couch, purring up a storm enjoying lots of ear and chin scratches. After a bit, she snuggled right up against me and took a nap. She was being so sweet that I felt obligated to stay sitting on the couch so as not to disturb her! It was really cute - every now and then she would wake up, look at me as if saying “why did you stop petting me”, so of course, I started petting her again which promptly got her purr machine going again. How is she not adopted yet?!” - Volunteer Sue

Short tail big personality- Doodle. Doodle is the fearless adventurer of the bunch! He’s all about playtime but also loves a good chin scratch and being picked up for cuddles. New rescues are settling in. The kittens in the cubbies were terrified when we first arrived. They gradually relaxed and we were able to play with them for a little while. Mom was very cautious, but she let her kittens interact with us. We added a few more toys to the cubby since they were enjoying their playtime. Litter box was well used and normal. They really enjoyed their food, and we saw them eat both dry and canned.

Cute smile from Sharpie today. Everyone here loves how sweet and gentle she is. she loves to sit close by or on laps. She’s also very good at jumping for toys! Come meet her at the Cat Lounge and she will be the first to greet you!

Copy - dilute calico, the Manic Pixie Dream Girl of the bunch. Cute, quirky, kind of loud, wants to be platonic friends but will inevitably end up making out with you and be your paramour in the end.

Print- grey and white. Only boy of the bunch. Was kind of an awkward kid, but had a glow up over summer vacation, put on some muscle, found some confidence. Never gets the credit he deserves, but a pretty good kid that everyone seems to like.

Cut - orange girl. Built like a long distance runner. Lanky as they come, down to party and can totally take down all the calories because she’s going to run 100 miles later.

Paste - torti girl. Pureform introvert. Museum piece - “look but don’t touch,” should be handled with the gentlest of care and admiration. For those few aficionados that can take the time to carefully study her and unlock her secrets, she’s the find of the century (her secret is that she loves gentle dogs and wand toys). Absolutely a collector piece.

Chipped, vaccinated, fixed, and cute as a button—these brothers are ready for their new homes and a flight to get there! At nine weeks old, they are social, hand-fed, very active, and playful. These kittens are FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus) and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) negative.
