Happy April...and a chance to be awed by the amazing art of Liberty's April artist, Linda Logie. She masters many types of media, but the past few years she's been specializing in Pouring Art. And as you can see, Linda takes it to a whole new level with her enhanced Pour Art paintings. Linda says the pour art starts to determine the painting with the shapes and images that emerge. ..it's almost like a Rorschach test where Linda sees an image hidden within the painting and then, she takes her pen and ink and paints and enhances the Pour Art, coaxing out the stunning images she has nurtured. No two are alike, each painting a one of a kind, impossible to exactly reproduce masterpiece requiring time patience lots of material and lots of skills. . , , , , , , ,

Coffee connection. We love stories like this. Beloved customers, Morgan & Charles had their first date here at Liberty Cafe. There was magic in the air (and maybe some Love Potion #9 in the coffee) since this date became their first of many cups of coffee together. While they no longer live in the area, they make a point of always trying to revisit their 1st date -+- and Marriage Proposal spot! when back in Renton. This visit they came to enjoy the coffee....and to show us their beautiful little bundle of joy. I think he'll be a coffee drinker too. Look at him checking out the menu.
