Hello- It's time for my once in every 6 month check in on FB. :) So Tacoma MB will be closed for the remainder of this week, sadly :( You know the saying, when it rains it pours, well, that's a real thing. Between the 4 of us, we've got a multitude of things going on. Some are moving on to other endeavors, some are on vacation, and some are feeling under the weather. It all adds up to not enough people available to work. We all are very sorry that it all happened at the same time, however, we are hopeful to be opened back up on Monday the 8th. And you can come in and meet our newest employee, Becky. She'll be the new opener for us starting in a few weeks.

Thank you for your patience and again, we apologize for any inconvenience.

Megabites deli is a 5 day a week deli located in Time Square business park. We are only open 7-3 M-F, so no weekends or nights ever. We are closed all holidays. Work is fun and dynamic and tips are good.

If you like chatting with people and making their days better, than this job is for you. Making sandwiches, coffee, and taking order requests are just a few activities during your 4-5 hour shift. No weekends or evenings ever, as we are only open M-F and close at 3. High energy and fast paced, there’s never a dull moment. You never knew work could be so much fun.

As I’m sure everyone has noticed, due to lack of posts, I’m not much of a social media person. However, many others are, and I wanted to make a couple of announcements, both good and bad.

Let’s get the bad out of the way.

Sadly, after over 8 years, Megabites Olympia is now closed. Thank you to all the amazing people at the 1500 Jefferson building. The facility is beautiful, customers were amazing, and my staff became friends. I am so APPRECIATIVE of the kindness and support we were shown our entire time. Things change and new doors open. With the facility being closed for almost a year now and no one sure of when or how re-opening will look, it was just becoming to much to continue to pay rent with no income. I again, thank all of you from the bottom of my heart. It was a good, fun ride.

While Megabites Olympia closed, we did open a new location in Renton. Our newest location is in Times Square near IKEA at 660 SW 39th st. Chef David Lopez is in charge and already doing great. The word is getting around and everyday more and more people are finding out what greatness he creates. He’s inspired to make new items and make people smile with his quirky sense of humor and tasty creations. Come check it out if you have a moment, you’ll see familiar items like cashew chicken, deli melts and grilled Italians, but you’ll also find the unexpected like a cranberry Mayo turkey croissant. Yum.
