Registered ECB Students should attend their audition based on their level placement, not their age.
$20 Audition Fee

All camps are held at the Renton Civic Theatre and each week of camp offers an immersive experience through different themes. Register for one week or as many as you like! Each day, campers will have a dance class, healthy snacks, arts & crafts, and other fun activities.

ECB’s Summer Dance Camps will teach dancers new skills, spark their imagination, and provide an opportunity to express themselves through movement. Parents are invited to a mini in-studio performance and photo opportunity at the end of each week!

Newport High School Orchestra is excited to collaborate with Evergreen City Ballet to present a brand-new production of Coppélia, an enchanting, family ballet, perfect for young and old alike, where love triumphs over all in a comedy of mistaken identity. Coppélia will feature live music performed by the Newport Philharmonic, conducted by Barney Blough, and dance performed by the Evergreen City Ballet, under the direction of Maximiliano Guerra with choreography by Myriam Barroso. This unique collaboration provides young musicians and dancers with the experience of working together on a live show, resulting in a wonderfully joyful performance that’s sure to enchant audiences of all ages. Coppélia will be held May 3-5 at the Newport Performing Arts Center.

EMMA HAMELL
CREATIVE MOVEMENT

Emma Hamell has been dancing for 12 years. This is her sixth season with Evergreen City Ballet and her second as a Performance Division dancer. Her favorite roles include Russian Lead and Snow Queen in Nutcracker. She also enjoyed performing Four Little Swans from Swan Lake and learning the Peasant Pas de Deux from Giselle. Emma has attended summer intensives at ECB, Oregon Ballet Theatre, State Street Ballet, and Adage Ballet Studio. She is a senior at Auburn Mountainview and a part-time running start student. She is also a part of her school's sports medicine program. Ms. Hamell is excited to begin her second year teaching at ECB!
