Here's your chance to own a piece of Springfield MO history. This gorgeous Vintage wood Chest came from a Southern Hills smoke and pet free home. The owner told me it had been Hand painted and is signed by local Artist George Kieffer. (1932-2016) If you do research he was well known for murals he painted in the Fox Theater and many other local places including SDC back in the mid to late 1900's. According to my research he was even invited by Walt Disney to come work in his animation studio in Los Angeles but declined due to his love of the Ozarks. It is a 2 piece chest measuring 68 1/4" tall, 36" wide, 21 1/2" deep. Dovetailed drawers that all work as they should. $400 plus tax. Can be seen at my shop in Republic MO by appointment.
