🚀Boost Your Team’s Productivity with These Meeting Tips!🚀

Meetings are a staple in every workplace, but are yours as effective as they could be? Here are three simple tips to make your next team meeting a productivity powerhouse:

1. Set aside 5-10 minutes:🕜

Every meeting needs an agenda, and every employee attending should look over it. But just in case they don’t, set aside some time for silent reading to ensure everyone has a grasp on the agenda for that day's meeting.

2. Seniority goes last:🎤

In meetings, things can get tense, and opinions may change frequently—sometimes a little too much. Newer hires might feel inclined to be 'yes-men' and agree with everything to fit in. To encourage them to share innovative thoughts, try having the senior members of your team speak last. This way, the newer folks get a chance to voice their ideas first, ensuring that their opinions are as unbiased and unfiltered as possible!

3. Keep it concise:⏱️

Respect everyone’s time by sticking to the agenda and avoiding off-topic discussions. Aim for meetings that are focused, efficient, and to the point.

National Social Engineering Day is all about being aware of protecting your valuable information from the cryptic hackers out on the web! While GoEngage's security is robust and top of the line, there are still many other attack vectors hackers can leverage. Hence, make sure your security is always kept up to date: passwords, two-factor authentication (2FA), or even your company network, make sure there’s no carelessness to be found. Speaking of which, don’t trust any suspicious emails asking for any of your information, even if it’s from one of your co-workers! Make sure to communicate through them if possible in person and ensure that they indeed wanted your password, login info, etc. Let us know about your experiences mitigating related risks!

💡Celebrated each year on July 26th, National All or Nothing Day encourages people to go for broke and take bold steps forward.

👨‍👩‍👧 Parents, we all have dreams we hold back, decisions left to make, or plans uncompleted. On this day, we break free from everything holding us back. Whether it's helping our children overcome challenges, pursuing a new opportunity for them, or supporting their ambitions, this is the day to go ahead and take that first step.

As parents, whether we apply for the educational program we've been considering or address any barriers to their success, sometimes we need to take a different path. When other days on the calendar don't urge us to make a decision or change, this one will. Define your goals for your children. Enlist help from a friend or family member to encourage you. You can even choose a challenge you and your child can tackle together. Whatever has been holding you back, get out there and tackle it!

Some of the biggest changes in our children's lives start with small steps. Often, these decisions are gut-wrenching because we rarely know whether the outcome will be successful. But how will our children ever grow if we don't reach for those dreams together?

We all have something we desire to change for our children - celebrate by marking the calendar for the first day of making that change.

Last week, our Founder (Lihong Ma) and COO (Angela Ma) traveled to San Antonio, TX to provide an in-person training to the amazing team at AVANCE! Thanks for all the work you do, from health managers to family advocates.

This week in San Antonio, GoEngage COO Angela Ma had the honor of meeting Angela Alonzo-Zaiontz, M.EdLd, Deputy Director of Innovative Network of Knowledge.

Head Start agencies encounter so many challenges, some nationwide: meeting enrollment, retaining qualified staff, and keeping children in the classroom. Overseeing programs across Texas, Alabama, and Louisiana, Ms. Alonzo-Zaiontz has witnessed the various ways that a common challenge, shared nationwide, differs in both cause and feasible solutions on a district-by-district basis.
