Metamorphosis Counseling & Consulting LLC

We are excited to share the latest updates at Metamorphosis Counseling & Consulting LLC. Our organization proudly provides behavioral health practicum and internship opportunities for graduate students pursuing degrees in professional counseling and social work. We currently collaborate with five major universities: Ohio State University, Wright State University, Walden University, Ashland University, and Malone College.

We are thrilled to announce the addition of two new clinical residents to Metamorphosis Counseling & Consulting LLC.

Sara McNeil comes to us with a rich background in psychology, holding a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Science in Business Psychology from The Ohio State University. She began her career as a therapist at a local treatment center, where she has helped many on their journey to recovery. Specializing in substance use disorders, Sara uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Gestalt principles, meditation, and mindfulness to guide her clients toward achieving their wellness goals. She is currently advancing her expertise by pursuing a master’s in clinical mental health
counseling at Wright State University.

Shannon Savage, BSW, LSW, CDCA, is a licensed social worker with a bachelor’s degree in social work from The Ohio State University. He is now working toward his master’s in social work at the same university, with the goal of becoming independently licensed. Shannon's non-traditional route into social work and his life experiences have shaped his perspective, which he brings to his practice. He is passionate about working with people of color, individuals dealing with substance use challenges, and those struggling with self-esteem, communication, and boundary issues.
