Learn about wildlife and history of Reynoldsburg’s parks on your way to becoming a Junior Ranger. Attend educating programs in the parks will earn you a sticker. Once you’ve collect 5 stickers displaying you’ve learned all about the nature and history of our parks, you’ll be a certified Junior Ranger! Junior Ranger program is most appropriate for ages 5-13 years but all ages welcome in the programs.

Location: Pine Quarry Park
Fee: 5 (per household)
Spend some time exploring our waterways here in town! Use dip nets and buckets to catch macroinvertebrates like insect larva, small fish, and crayfish. We’ll have magnifying glasses for a closer look and a Park Ranger on hand to help answer questions. All children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Fee is per family and includes all in household.

ADULT CO-REC KICKBALL LEAGUE

Date/Time: Thursday Nights, 6pm and later
Age Requirement: Adult, 18 years of age or older
Location: JFK Park - 7232 East Main Street
Team Fee: 280/team

Returning this fall, our popular Adult Kickball League! Join the fun as the league will once again play on Thursday nights at JFK Park under the lights. Teams will compete in both a regular season & end of season tournament. A team trophy will be awarded to the League Champions & Tournament Champions. Games will run 6:00pm or later and run through the fall months. Team registration only, captains may register their team at our office.

No more sitting on the sidelines watching all the kids have the fun! This night is all about the adults. A DJ will be playing all your favorite hits, a photographer will capture the moments and don’t forget to vote for the King and Queen of the Prom! Formal wear is encouraged but not required. Proceeds will go toward the Parks and Recreation Scholarship Fund. Themed food and drinks will be available to purchase separately.

YOUTH CO-ED VOLLEYBALL LEAGUE

Age Requirement: 10-18 years
Location: Reynoldsburg United Methodist Community Center and/or Reynoldsburg City School Gym

Bump, set, spike - it's time for our Youth Volleyball! Players will be placed onto teams after the Player Ability Assessment. From there, all teams will have a weekday practice followed by games on the weekends. A single elimination tournament will end the season for all teams. Space is limited - sign up today!

12U (Ages 10, 11, and 12)
14U (Ages 13 and 14)
18U (Ages 15, 16, 17 and 18 - must be a current high school student)

Come and create some wonderful family memories through art! In this acrylic class each family member will be painting a fun design on a square 8”x8” canvas. The design will look great by itself or displayed side by side and connected with all the families’ canvases. No previous painting experience is needed, so bring your kids, grandparents, aunts and uncles! All supplies and step by step instructions will be provided. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a guardian. Each family member must sign up.

Calling all Pokemon Trainers! Challenge yourself to be a better Pokemon Trainer in Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet. Problem solving your way to learn strategies, tactics, different approaches and more. This trainers camp will offer unique opportunities to evolve as a trainer mastering introductory concepts; building upon teamwork, challenges, and time management. You'll battle both with and against other trainers to taking the game from more than just sitting on the couch to a social brainstorming session! For new and returning trainers; a Nintendo Switch with a save file of either Pokemon Scarlet or Pokemon Violet having reached Paldean Champion is highly recommended. (Limited class copies will be available)

Join the fun! We’re back and running every TUES night at Eastside Brewing Company located at 1421 Davidson Drive in Reynoldsburg. Your team will consist of 2 players (max of 5 on the roster) who will play a different team each week. Teams can expect to play an 8 game regular season and participate in an end of season tournament. All players must be 21 years of age or older to participate. This league is expected to fill quickly – cost is $40/team. Teams may consist of all males, all females or a combination. Rules will be provided in advance of games starting. Learn from a certified instructor in the Gracie Bullyproof program. The goal of this program is to instill children with unshakable confidence so they can overcome bullies without violence. This method uses leverage-based control holds to neutralize threats and self-defense techniques to stay safe if physically assaulted. Dress – sweat pants or similar, no buttons, zippers or snaps

James Guynn teaches Gracie Combatives and Master Cycle for adults and Gracie Bullyproof for children. He is a Certified Instructor through Gracie University in Torrance, CA. James has been practicing Jiu-Jitsu for the past 8+ years and has achieved the rank of verified Purple Belt in the “Gentle Art”.
