As the curtains close on an unforgettable Aahhmazing weekend, I'm honored to be named the 2023’ Designer of the Year y’all. Overwhelmed with gratitude for the blessings that have come my way, I extend heartfelt thanks to and for their unwavering support of my work and the vibrant Columbus fashion scene. I'm immensely proud to be a part of this creative community and eager to continue contributing to its growth in the years to come. What an incredible kick-off to a fantastic weekend! The Big Arts Night at The Historic Southern Theatre,commemorating 50 years of artistic excellence, was an unforgettable celebration, honoring the achievements of both winners and nominees. My heartfelt gratitude to , Tom Katzenmeyer, and the entire team for their unwavering support of the Columbus arts community. And to the esteemed national panel of judges, thank you for selecting me as the recipient of the Nick and Donna Akins Artist Elevated Award. Your recognition of my art form, "Fashion," means the world to me. Representation matters, and I am deeply humbled, beyond grateful, and still basking in the glory of this moment.
It was an absolute delight to connect and celebrate with fellow artists Westin Great Southern Hotel. The evening truly lived up to its name – a true Arts Night. Congratulations once again to all the winners!
To my family and friends, thank you for coming out and sharing this momentous occasion with me. Your unwavering support is my bedrock, and I cherish you all dearly.
