God loves you. Jesus died for you. The Holy Spirt lives in you. You are priceless and made for a purpose. Go be who He made you to be. The best is yet to come.
Much love, fam. Signing off.

Happy Thanksgiving, fam! Your leaders are incredibly thankful for you and your families. Have a great day with family, food, football, and other traditions you might have. We’ll see you this Sunday to kick-off Advent!
Huge shout-out to all of you who came to help clean and organize the last two days! The entire youth closet is organized and inventoried, thousands of pages worth of music is now filed, the stage is clear and reset, and all the stage lights are boxed and organized. Y’ALL ROCK! Thank you for spending time on your week off to help make out space great! 💪🔥🙌
A little pre-Thanksgiving fun at Group Dynamix? Yes, please! Thanks for coming today, fam!
And kudos to Paul and his slo-mo moves. Also…something seems sus in that next to last picture…
Our amazing 44th church anniversary morning/afternoon captured in two pictures.
First pic: Billy read the Scripture passage before Pastor Mike’s fantastic sermon on myths about heaven.
Second pic: Billy and David giving perhaps two of the greatest answers ever provided in Quiplash during our post-picnic edition of Encounter. They both won the remainder of our cheesecake supply for getting the most points! Aside from Quiplash, cheesecake, and cookies, we enjoyed some jungle pong and a brief devotion on looking for signs of heaven.
Those of you who couldn’t make it, you were missed and prayed for! Have a great week, fam!
Jeff and Deacon saw Cassidy (one of our amazing seniors) tonight when they picked up dinner!
We had a solid crew tonight for ! Jungle pong, snacks and drinks, a short devo on worship, and David coming through again for us with some Jackbox. We played a new game tonight, Talking Points. Zoom in on the second picture to see the presentations everyone gave 🤣. And yeah…I guess we shouldn’t be surprised that lettuce got pushed to the secret menu at McDonald’s. But for your own sake…don’t order any foot. 🥴🤢😷🦶
Have a great week, fam!
After launching our church-wide series this morning on God’s love for us, we capped off a great Sunday with some free snacks, a short devo on choosing what’s right with our freedom in Christ, Jackbox games, and hanging this legendary bird that was won as a prize 6 years ago on Refuge Weekend by Kennedy. She gave it to us as a going-away decoration this summer before she left for OU to hang next to Buster on the youth room wall. The Witness Bird is now displayed for all current and future students to behold in all of its majesty.
Have a great week, fam!
We had a huge turnout and fun times tonight at our backup plan event! Smash Bros tournament (pic of our finalists playing here), fishbowl relay style, some jungle pong, and specially ordered Sonic treats. Thanks for coming out, fam! Look for a survey tomorrow or Tuesday about changing up programming and meet-ups outside of Sunday morning this semester. Let’s be intentional, prioritize, and have great times moving and growing together!
Looking forward to a great morning with y’all! See you soon!
Happy Friday, peeps! Prepare to get your game on while slipping, sliding, and splashing this Sunday night with our friends from Dallas Bible Church! We’re kicking off Encounter for the fall with a fun joint event in our back field from 6-8pm.
Relays involving water balloons? Yep. Huge game of slip n’ slide kickball with added rules for more scoring? Double yep. Free snacks and drinks as usual? Triple yep.
Bring a friend, and don’t miss it! See you Sunday!
FAM! As of this week, everyone is back in school. This school year is going to have so many opportunities for us to grow in our faith and move together as the and Trinity Fellowship as a whole. And it all starts this Sunday!
For our annual fall kick-off, Christy Trabun and Josh Freeman will be joining us to hang out, lead some games, and give a preview of what’s to come this semester.
Finish out the week strong, and we’ll see you on Sunday morning!
Even though Jeff’s camera lens was hazy (oops), we still had to get a picture after SMY this morning. It was our largest attendance on a Sunday morning since COVID started early last year. It was also the last Sunday for our Class of 2021 senior class. They shared some wise words with the other students, and emphasized how participation and investment will maximize their time in youth. We are so proud of you, and we’ll miss you greatly! Go be who God made you to be, and have fun in this new season. Love ya, fam! ❤️🙌
Throwback to 3 years ago today, when we said farewell and prayed for our remaining seniors, celebrated how God moved on our Spain mission trip, and presented Dr. Meiser with the greatest nameplate in the history of nameplates.
We said farewell to Kennedy this past Sunday, and we’ll hear from and say farewell to our remaining seniors this Sunday. Don’t miss our last SMY of summer!
Yo, yo, YO, fam! August is upon us, but we still have some summer greatness left in the tank!
For SMY, we’ll be discussing the last of our seven deadly sins - wrath. Come hear and engage in discussion about this powerful and often misunderstood topic.
That night, don’t miss our Encounter summer finale from 6:00-8:30...Water Warz! We have some big games planned (yes, water is involved). As always, we’ll have free snacks and drinks. Also, it looks like we’re going to have a very special guest there that night! Who could it be?? Bring a friend, and come have a blast with us!
Finally, this Sunday is the deadline to register for our overall summer finale party at Hawaiian Falls Garland. Email Jeff with the number of people going, and look for a permission slip later next week. It’s $25 for a ton of amazing features. Sign up soon!
Let’s squeeze every incredible ounce out of summer while we can, peeps. See you Sunday!
How it started >>> How it ended
Our Encounter: Lock-In Returns event was one for the TFC Youth record books. Over 13 straight hours together at 3 different venues with a ton of activities, lots of food, and some huge dedication from some who are working 8+ hour shifts today!! 😳😳
Check out our Lock-In ‘21 complete story highlight on our Instagram profile under the bio to catch a glimpse of the evening/morning. Greatness was experienced by all.
2 more summer Sundays, fam. Let’s get it!
Final Hidden Acres Update:
Our team made it home safe tonight from a great week of ministry. 2 more campers accepted Christ today, which brings this week’s total to at least 5! Such a blessing to be part of this powerful and long-standing ministry. Come hear testimonies and see footage of our mission trip this Sunday in the worship service!
Hidden Acres Day 3 Update:
Our third day with the campers will be wrapping up in the next hour. We’ve had a full day of games, Bible stories, crafts, and other exciting activities. After dinner and our ReFuel service, we’ll spend our last night putting on an annual favorite - the talent show! Our team is tired, but growing in gratitude for such an amazing week. Pray that our last 24 hours together is meaningful for the kingdom and our youth mission team.
Hidden Acres Day 1 Update:
We welcomed the kids for the first day of camp this morning! We have about 2 hours left with them today, and everyone is enjoying getting to know each other. We also just got word that a refugee camper accepted Christ today! God is at definitely at work, so we ask for continuing prayers this week.
Our Hidden Acres crew made it safely! Training and orientation has started. Pray for us!
Yo, fam! Big things in store. Several important notes for tomorrow:
1. In SMY, we’re gathering to talk about the sin of...well...the picture is a clue. What do you think? Fun times tomorrow morning with your squad - see you there!
2. Remember, tomorrow is the mandatory RSVP deadline for the lock-in. You must submit a signed form to Jeff to RSVP by 3pm, so he can call and confirm final numbers with Group Dynamix and Pinstack. The waiver is on the WIP page, which you can access through the bio link or church website. Bring friends!
Finally, remember to pray for our Hidden Acres team that leaves early Monday morning! We’ll post pics and updates here and on the TFC social media pages.
See you tomorrow, peeps!
Throwback to 8 years ago today, which was the first day of our first trip to Hidden Acres. We’re excited to be heading back this Monday, and continue partnering with this fantastic ministry that invests in the next generation for sake of the gospel. We would cherish your prayers for our team!
GREATNESS UPDATE:
Tomorrow night, we’re getting together for some high energy team games, free snacks/drinks, and yes...but spray, mister fans, and some AC. Bring a friend at 6pm!
Then, this Sunday, SMY is back with our Subdue The Seven series. We’ll be talking about the sin of...well...pretty obvious, no? 😜 Join us for some good discussion on what is probably the most misunderstood of the seven deadly sins.
Make it a great weekend with your TFC Youth fam! See you soon, peeps.
TOMORROW. Tomorrow is the day when we try to win back the flaming baby trophy on our home turf. We can do this, fam!
Wear red, and show up at 6pm. Try not to be late, or you might miss instructions for the first round! We have a very tight 3 hours to do a LOT of things. Bring $5 to help with food and supply cost, and definitely bring a friend! We’ll have some pizza at the end, and cold drinks available throughout the event.
See you soon, peeps!
We had an absolute blast with Hide/Seek/Capture Night at Encounter! There was a lot of movement in the dark, so this is the only pic Jeff got. This was the first game, which was basically reverse steal the bacon blindfolded. 😁🥓
Thanks for showing up tonight with friends, youth fam! Rest up and gear up for our biggest event yet this Wednesday - The BIG Games!
PEOPLE! Summer is in high gear, and we have some big things on deck.
First up, we have our first SMY in a few weeks, and we’re doing a short double-lesson on a few of our seven deadly sins.
Next up, we’re using most of the (air conditioned) church for Encounter. Feel free to bring dark clothes! As always, free snacks, drinks, and a short devo. Be there!
Finally, after being on hiatus since 2018, the flaming baby trophy is up for grabs once again! We are hosting the 7th BIG Games from 6-9pm this Wednesday, June 30th. Wear as much red as you can, and bring a friend! It’s going to be...well...BIG!
We’re right in the thick of our amazing summer schedule. Don’t miss out, peeps! See you soon!
“When we make a list of goals, we usually just write down things we want do...not who we want to be.” Eph 3:14-21
We had an incredible time in Arkansas with our juniors and seniors this week. Thank you for your prayers! Christy got back to Dallas safely last night. Pray for the rest of our group to get back safely today.
We made it to our lake house in Hot Springs! Pray that we have a good time together having fun and looking forward to what God has in store for these students.
Yo yo, fam! Since we didn’t have SMY yesterday, we’re having our first summer series lesson this Wednesday at the first summer edition of Encounter! Come on out with a friend for free snacks & drinks, and a mixture of regular/whacky games. See you soon!
