Tony Akins

Tony Akins first gained attention for his work on the 1980's comic book series Nexus. He then worked with Dark Horse Comics on Star Wars, Aliens, and The Terminator. He then became a regular name with DC Comics on HELLBLAZER: PAPA MIDNITE and FABLES, as well as completing a five year run with writers Bill Willingham and Matthew Sturges on JACK OF FABLES. Tony also worked with writer Brian Azzarello on WONDER WOMAN and has been working on Red Hood.

Tony has been focusing a lot of his energy over the past year to help care for his elderly Mother who needs full time medical attention. This has caused him to not be able to work as regularly as he needs to keep up financially and is in a position where he could use some assistance from friends & fans.

He is one of our artist friends repped by Splash Page Art so we're teaming along with his Seattle Studio Pals, Stefano Gaudiano, Moritat (Justin Norman) & Brian Thies to put together a livestream to auction & claim sale to benefit Tony. There will be 5 pieces of Walking Dead Art we'll auction, as well as post some previously unreleased pieces of art.

Pia Guerra is a Canadian comic book artist best known for her work as penciller and co-creator of the DC/Vertigo series Y – The Last Man with writer Brian K. Vaughan.

She has won several awards including Spike TV’s Scream Award, a Harvey, a Shuster, and along with inker Jose Marzan Jr. two of the comic industry’s top prize, the Eisner Award.

She has been nominated for other awards including the Reuben, the Hugo, the Ringo, and Prix Du Scenario from the Angoulême International Comics Festival.

Paolo and Joe Rivera

Paolo Rivera broke in with Marvel painting all of the Marvel Mythos books. He then became a superstar artist with his pencil & ink work on covers & pencils on interiors with his father Joe doing inks, on their Daredevil run with writer Mark Waid. He also worked on The Valiant mini series for Valiant as well as Hellboy and the B.P.R.D 1953 with Mike Mignola writing.

He has mostly been producing Covers for Marvel, Walking Dead Painted Deluxe Covers and now some painted Covers for DC Comics on Action Comics.

Paolo's pre-show list is full & will be worked on at the show.

Right now he is NOT accepting more commissions at the show. If that changes, we'll announce it Sunday & they would be 4X6" Painted Headshots.

MAXI DALL'O

Maxi Dall'o, Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, started his professional career in 2015 illustrating books for children and comic book adaptations of H.P Lovecraft, Edgar Allan Poe and other classic writers for different Argentinian publishing houses. Simultaneously, he worked as a storyboard artist for an advertising agency and for TV shows such as HBO. In recent years he has been working for different publishers in the US like Heavy Metal Magazine, Aftershock, Massive Publishing, among others.
