EVENT TODAY AT 5PM!!

WSU Tri-Cities is excited to host a community gallery reception of our newest art installation on campus: "Rooted: Irwin Nash Photographs of Yakima Valley Farmworkers." Hear from our WSU Regent Enrique Cerna, and get an inside look on the lives, labor, and activism of Washington's Yakima Valley between 1967-1976. Nash's photos capture poignant scenes of daily life and family joy, as well as participation in local and national labor movements. His lens gives viewers a glimpse into communities often overlooked but essential to the state of Washington.

We look forward to seeing our community partners, students, staff and faculty today at 5pm in our Art Center. Latino/Hispanic/Chicano students are invited to a special meeting with WSU Regent Enrique Cerna today at 4pm in the SUB, before the event.

Please contact [email protected] for questions.
