We’re hosting another class this Saturday!! School is back in session and families are busy with activities, so come spend an hour with us learning invaluable skills that you might need for whatever life brings!

This little lady only just learned how to crawl, but has already moved on to saving lives!

We offer hands-on, interactive, and family-friendly classes to empower everyone to learn life-saving skills. Whether it’s CPR and using an AED, or first aid and helping someone who is choking, give us a call to schedule your own class or see which ones we have coming up!

We had a really great training session last week with Tri-City Young Marines! These young men and women were super fun to work with, and all of them aced their final practical test to become fully CPR, AED, and first aid certified! Stay tuned for part 2 soon!

We’ve been busy over the last few weeks! On St. Patrick’s Day, INDY Founder Katie and her brother Michael spent some time with Mid-Columbia Meals on Wheels, teaching a free CPR and AED class to some of the organization’s volunteers. Everyone had a great time learning and practicing CPR! We’re so thankful to have services like Senior Life Resources in our community, and for all the volunteers who make Meals on Wheels possible!

INDY chooses one non-profit or community organization each month for a free CPR and AED class for their volunteers. Know an organization who would like to be considered? Let us know!

We had so much teaching a basic CPR class to members of our community who volunteer for Mid-Columbia Meals on Wheels. This group was so engaged and truly wanted to learn as much as they good, and we very much appreciate the support in setting this class up!! Good job everyone!

Want to get CPR certified? We have openings in several different classes THIS WEEK!

Wednesday, March 8, 7pm - CPR Anytime! (non-certification class): a 1-hour class for anyone who wants to learn lifesaving CPR, AED awareness, and choking relief skills in a condensed format, but does NOT need certification for work or other requirement ($20 per person, groups welcome at discounted rate)

Wednesday, March 8, 4pm - BLS for Healthcare Providers, Renewal: a 3-hour renewal class for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in-facility and prehospital settings. *Requires current, unexpired BLS card.* ($80 per person)

Thursday, March 9, 8am - HeartSaver Total, Blended Format **registration closes TODAY**: a 4-hour class geared towards anyone with little to no medical experience who needs a course completion card for work, school, or other requirement. *This class requires completion of 2-3 hours of online course work prior to the start of class.* ($75 per person)

Last-minute opening! Do you want to get CPR certified, or need to obtain or renew your CPR certification for a work or school requirement? I have two seats open in an AHA HeartSaver CPR, AED, and first aid class TOMORROW, Saturday March 4 at 8am! This class provides full CPR certification valid for 2 years (meets OSHA requirements for the workplace), and is a perfect opportunity to accomplish something that could help save a life in the future! Class will be approximately 4.5 hours long. Please PM for more information or to register!

(Interested but weekend schedule is already full? We also have a couple seats left in a blended-format HeartSaver class next Thursday, March 9 at 8am! This class provides the same full CPR certification with only about 2.5 hours of in-person class time, but requires completion of online coursework prior to class. PM if interested!)

Staff, AED at Desert Hills Middle School save student whose heart stopped KENNEWICK, Wash. — Five staff members at the Desert Hills Middle School in Kennewick worked together to save the life of a seventh grade student, according to a news release
