As we wrap up the work week we also finish a rebuild and send him off to go put himself and the shop in the winners circle. We had to blast this motor apart,clean it all up,freshen the motor up after a spun bearing.Had some down time so surprised the customer with some color matching powder coat and clean up in the engine bay to help with maintenance and reliability. Another one done and gone. Texas speed chopacabra cam,springs,push rods,stainless long tubes and wrapped it up with a Bronson tune. Car made good power,sounds good,drives good and customer left with a smile. Next!
Round 2 or what I call rev.1 is a wraps on the c10 and plans for the next round are already set. We had some tuning issues to address and Harry bronson knocked it out of the park. He instantly made the truck act like we wanted and then from that point he dialed it is to every spec that I requested.We changed to a aftermarket stahl to help accommodate the cam and big change in gears from a 3:08 to 3:73. I decided she needed to be a touch more flat in the finish paint department so alittle cut and buff action all over pulled this build together. I believe when it comes back for a vintage style blue tooth radio and big brake kit I’ll do a full video and touch base on every bit of the truck. This is a perfect example of a ground up from our shop and with the right budget what you can receive. From paint,chassis to drive train.Mild to wild it’s all in the Worx!
A quick save,turn and burn for one of our repeat customers. Unfortunately one morning on start up the car had no oil pressure. Luckily the customer caught it right away and shut it down. We tore into it, replaced oil pump,found broken guides so we opted for a full timing kit and gaskets and the car drove out yesterday afternoon. Oil pressure in great standings and oil shows no signs of bearing break down so we are calling this a win.This isn’t always the case but was glad this one beat the odds.

When a customer show you how appreciated or happy they are with your work makes all the bs worth it. A fresh job finished and we get a video of a test hit in “Mexico” of course of what the upgrades did for the car. Full post coming soon!
Today was a huge success. Made some time to start on the cnc table and did our first sign for a customer of ours. A hole new load of possibility’s opened up for the shop today and I’m stoked to see where this table can help push us in the future.
