Lovers of all things modern!
Dust off your favorite modern objects and get ready for a FLUX-style show & tell social gathering!
You're invited to gather with us on Thursday, May 4th for an inspiring evening at the loft home of Wendy Umanoff in Shockoe Bottom. Wendy's creative home and studio space provides the perfect setting for us to relax and connect with each other, and share the things that give us inspiration.
We'll kick the evening off at 5:30pm with beverages, light hors d'oeuvres and conversation, followed by our program at 6:15pm.
Guests are asked to bring a favorite item from their personal collection to share with the group. It could be a modern design object, lamp, sculpture, artwork or perhaps a cherished piece of jewelry - bring something that's special to you and tell us all about it!
Please note: You'll have to climb a flight or two of stairs so leave your Eames lounge chair at home!

FLUX invites you to our inaugural gathering with I AM A MODEL, an exhibition featuring architectural models of modern projects, completed or unrealized from Richmond, VA and beyond. The models shown will represent an amazing cross section of structures from many of this region’s best modern architects. The architects will be there to connect with you and discuss their project, vision, and process.
Join us in an open house format from 6:30-9:30pm on Thursday, October 20, 2022, at 2227 West Main Street in the Fan. Light refreshments will be served.
Enjoy a fun evening and connect with others who have a passion for modern architecture and design.
