We can officially say: Congratulations and Happy Retirement to our beloved Pastor Olson!! You have served Bethlehem well and we’re so thankful for everything you’ve done. We look forward to Pastor Scheck continuing our ministry.

A big thank you to everyone who came together for the service and reception this evening. It was a beautiful event and we’ll have many pictures and videos to share in the coming weeks.

Bethlehem Lutheran Church, in partnership with Homeward and Commonwealth Catholic Charities, are hosting their second annual memorial service for people who passed away while struggling with homelessness. All are invited and welcome to join us on All Saints Day, the traditional day in the Church calendar where the deceased of the previous year are remembered, as we remember those who passed away this last year.

The service will start at 4:30pm at Bethlehem Lutheran Church at 1100 W. Grace St. in Richmond, VA. There will be on-street parking available. Following the service, everyone is invited to join for a Community Dinner provided by Bethlehem Lutheran Church for a time of fellowship and remembrance.

Have a happy and blessed Thanksgiving!

Dear Lord, You cause the rain to fall and the sun to shine. In the miracle of creation, You gave us fruit from the trees and ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
grains from the field. Through farms, gardens, and ranches, You feed us. Through builders, You give us homes, and through still others, You clothe us. Thank You, O God, for providing us with all our bodily needs, but most of all for salvation through Your Son. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
