The Elder Justice Learning and Research Hub, at the Virginia Center on Aging at VCU has launched the Safety Connector to help elders, their caregivers, and service providers connect to community resources, supports, and positive relationships in order to prevent elder abuse and exploitation, and to reduce the fallout of experiencing either. The Safety Connector was developed in partnership with Virginia Easy Access and No Wrong Door at the Department of Aging and Rehabilitative Services, with funding from the Administration for Community Living.
